The AgTec 2-Rail White PVC Fence is built from premium-grade vinyl, offering a clean, classic look with the strength to outperform traditional wooden fencing. Unlike wood, it never requires painting or staining, will not rot or mildew, and is UV stabilized to withstand decades of outdoor exposure without fading or deteriorating. Each post is set approximately 28 inches below ground and is typically installed in concrete for maximum stability, while the rails are designed to easily clip into the posts with secure notching to ensure they stay firmly in place. Combining durability, low maintenance, and timeless style, this 2-rail system provides a reliable and attractive fencing solution for farms, ranches, and residential properties alike.
Installation Instructions:
Step 1: If using a gate, it is best to assemble your gate first as the gate width and location will determine the layout of the rest of your posts.
Step 2: Install line stakes and run a string line. The string line should be positioned on the side of the posts and be very tight. Use a tape measure and mark the location for each post. Posts should be installed 8 foot apart on center to accommodate the 8ft rails. Note that rails can be cut shorter if necessary.
Step 3: Remove the string line, leaving the stakes, and dig the post holes. If installing with concrete, 5" posts will need a 12" diameter hole (If installing with Fast2K dig an 8” diameter hole). The recommended depth of the holes is 24".
Step 4: Re-attach the string line to the stakes and place a post in each hole. Use the string line to ensure the fence line is straight as you set the posts.
Step 5: Finally, mix the concrete and fill the hole around the post with concrete to 3" below ground level, ensuring that the post is level and plumb. It is best to use two 80 lb. bags of Quickcrete for each 5" post. We recommend setting posts in concrete one post at a time so corrections are easier to make.
