The replacement cylinder can easily be changed out, saving you from having to replace the entire vent opener. The Gigavent is a heavy duty temperature-sensitive device that automatically opens and closes cold frame lids, greenhouse windows and even skylights throughout the day and maintain a constant interior climate.

Requires no batteries or electricity, it starts opening between 55 to 75°F, depending on how you have adjusted the vent.
