This digital fruit penetrometer has 8mm and 11mm dual tips. It easily and accurately measures the firmness and ripeness of most larger sized fresh produce.

Fruit firmness is directly related to fruit maturity and quality. By measuring a fruit's firmness you can determine when to harvest, which seeds to propagate, and the suitibility of a product for transport, processing or sale.
