The AgTec PVC 4-Rail Black Horse Fence is a premier fencing solution that delivers quality, durability, and style to your farm, ranch, or home. Designed with both equine safety and owner satisfaction in mind, this fence system offers the perfect combination of safety, aesthetics, and long-lasting performance.
Featuring ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) technology, this black horse fence stands out from standard PVC options. ASA ensures superior color retention, preventing the black finish from fading over time. It also increases durability, impact resistance, and chemical resistance, while the smooth, glossy finish enhances its appearance and extends its lifespan compared to traditional black PVC fencing.
One of the key benefits of the 4-rail horse fence is its low maintenance. Unlike wood fences that require regular care, this fence is resistant to rot, mildew, and UV damage, ensuring years of worry-free outdoor use. Built to withstand harsh weather conditions, it maintains its visual appeal without deteriorating due to exposure to the elements.
In addition to its functionality and strength, the 4-rail horse fence adds visual appeal to any equestrian facility, farm, or garden. It provides secure, durable protection while enhancing the overall look of the property.
With a 10-year warranty, this fence guarantees lasting performance, making it an excellent choice for those seeking both safety and style in equine properties. Combining strength, durability, and elegance, the AgTec 4-Rail Black Horse Fence exemplifies quality craftsmanship and timeless beauty.
Posts are installed approximately 28 inches below ground and then typically installed in concrete. Rails easily clip into posts and are notched to stay in place.
Installation Instructions:
- Step 1: If using a gate, it is best to assemble your gate first as the gate width and location will determine the layout of the rest of your posts.
- Step 2: Install line stakes and run a string line. The string line should be positioned on the side of the posts and be very tight. Use a tape measure and mark the location for each post. Posts should be installed 8 foot apart on center to accommodate the 8ft rails. Note that rails can be cut shorter if necessary.
- Step 3: Remove the string line, leaving the stakes, and dig the post holes. If installing with concrete, 5" posts will need a 12" diameter hole (If installing with Fast2K dig an 8” diameter hole). The recommended depth of the holes is 28" - 36" depending on how tall you want the fence.
- Step 4: Re-attach the string line to the stakes and place a post in each hole. Use the string line to ensure the fence line is straight as you set the posts.
- Step 5: Finally, mix the concrete and fill the hole around the post with concrete to 3" below ground level, ensuring that the post is level and plumb. It is best to use two 80 lb. bags of Quickcrete for each 5" post. We recommend setting posts in concrete one post at a time so corrections are easier to make.
Note: Fencing should be stored, covered, on a flat surface if left over time to prevent warping.
