The AgTec PVC 2-rail black horse fence is a premier fencing solution that combines quality, endurance, and refined style for farms, ranches, and homes. Designed with equine safety and owner satisfaction in mind, this system balances strength, elegance, and longevity. Featuring advanced ASA (Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate) technology, it offers outstanding color retention that prevents fading, while also improving durability, impact resistance, and chemical resistance. The smooth, glossy black finish ensures not only a striking appearance but also long-lasting performance that far exceeds standard black PVC fencing.
Each post measures 60 inches in length and 5 inches in thickness, with 24 inches secured underground for reliable stability and 36 inches above ground to provide a uniform, open look. Topped with a 5-inch pyramid cap, the posts offer both strength and visual appeal, while being engineered to outperform wood in strength and overall durability. The heavy-duty PVC rails, measuring 8 feet in length, lock securely into the posts to create a sturdy yet elegant 2-rail design that provides a traditional, open aesthetic while ensuring dependable strength and safety.
Unlike wood fencing that requires regular painting or repairs, this fence is virtually maintenance-free, resistant to rot, mildew, and UV degradation, and built to withstand the elements in any climate. It retains its beauty year after year with minimal upkeep, making it both a practical and stylish investment. Perfect for horse paddocks, farm boundaries, or residential settings, the 2-rail black PVC fence delivers timeless appeal while enhancing property value.
Backed by a 10-year warranty, the AgTec 2-rail black horse fence ensures long-lasting performance and aesthetic excellence, representing the ideal blend of craftsmanship, resilience, and sophistication.
Installation Instructions:
Step 1: If using a gate, it is best to assemble your gate first as the gate width and location will determine the layout of the rest of your posts.
Step 2: Install line stakes and run a string line. The string line should be positioned on the side of the posts and be very tight. Use a tape measure and mark the location for each post. Posts should be installed 8 foot apart on center to accommodate the 8ft rails. Note that rails can be cut shorter if necessary.
Step 3: Remove the string line, leaving the stakes, and dig the post holes. If installing with concrete, 5" posts will need a 12" diameter hole (If installing with Fast2K dig an 8” diameter hole). The recommended depth of the holes is 24".
Step 4: Re-attach the string line to the stakes and place a post in each hole. Use the string line to ensure the fence line is straight as you set the posts.
Step 5: Finally, mix the concrete and fill the hole around the post with concrete to 3" below ground level, ensuring that the post is level and plumb. It is best to use two 80 lb. bags of Quickcrete for each 5" post. We recommend setting posts in concrete one post at a time so corrections are easier to make.
